Mutemba Safaris is situated in the north west part of Gaza Province of Mozambique, along the Mozambique/Zimbabwe border. The western boundary of the concession is the Gonarezhou National Park of Zimbabwe. The closest recognised villages to the hunting area are Chiqualaquala (Eduard Mondlane) approximately 60km to the south along the Mozambique/Zimbabwe border, Mavue Village approximately 40km to the north of the concession along the Mozambique/Zimbabwe border, and Massangena Village to the east. Through negotiations with adjoining concession holders to the south, Mutemba Safaris has secured the exclusive hunting quota and hunting rights to an unfenced area of unspoiled big game hunting terrain.
